Diagnosis
Head transverse, 0.6X as high as wide; scape pale brown to dark brown; entire body metallic dark purple; mesoscutum with a median groove in posterior 1/3, with raised and weak reticulation, notauli indistinct; scutellum with engraved and very weak reticulation to completely smooth; femora and tibiae dark brown; forewing speculum open below and towards the body; propodeal callus with 3-4 setae; posterior part of median carina on propodeum reticulate; female with gaster with first tergite large, covering 0.6X the length of gaster.

Biology
From eggs of Coelomera sp., C. cayennensis, C. godmani (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) on Cecropia sp. and C. obtusifolia (Cecropiaceae); from eggs of an unidentified Galerucinae (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) on Cecropia insignis.
